Are you unhappy with a stained, crooked or broken tooth? If so, a dental veneer could offer you a solution. A veneer is a very fine layer of material which can be placed over the surface of a tooth to help improve its appearance. Whether you’d like to change the size, shape or colour of a tooth a veneer is a quick, comfortable and easy way to dramatically change your smile- allowing you to finally flash those teeth with confidence.

The placing of a veneer takes minimal preparation time. Depending on the number of veneers you require it is likely to be around 2 visits.

Firstly your existing tooth is prepared by removing a tiny amount of enamel so there is space for the veneer to sit.

Following this, we will take an impression of your tooth so that we can custom make your new veneer. The colour will be matched to your other teeth with a colour chart.

It will take around one week to make your veneer. You will be invited in for a fitting appointment.

We will slightly abrade your old tooth – to help the veneer stick securely- and then attach it with a strong dental adhesive.

Veneers are made from strong and durable materials so they have the potential to last for many years. Despite this, they can still be easily damaged so do be careful when eating hard food items or playing contact sports.
